While I don’t love everything about living in Sacramento (the summer heat, the mosquitos) it is nice living somewhere centrally located to beautiful places like San Francisco, the Napa Valley and Lake Tahoe. But I don’t work for a travel agency – so let me tell you all about my scrapbook page! We headed up to Lake Tahoe a couple of weeks ago – drawn to the mountains, clean air and the sunshine. And since it hasn’t snowed in months we thought it would be a great day to head down to the water to play. When we got there the wind was blowing at 35 mph and it felt like subfreezing temperatures! We ran out to the waves and I had just enough time to snap a couple of pictures of the kids before they were begging us to get back in the car. Really, it was frigid!
My favorite snap other than the ocean-like waves on the lake was of the two boys in the Beach Patrol chair. The wind was blowing so hard they wouldn’t even open their eyes. From here it was to the coffee shop for hot chocolate and cookies – it was a fun day!
This scrapbook page is made with just a few items that all coordinate for a fun and practical page.
